Hyper Racing Expands Tulsa Shootout Partnership With Title Sponsorship
Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (June 24, 2025) One of the largest and most prominent names in the world of Micro Racing is Hyper Racing. A longtime partner with the Tulsa Shootout powered by NOS Energy Drink, the Pennsylvania-based manufacturer will expand that partnership as the title sponsor of the annual “Mecca of Micros”.
A dream that started in 1993 and became a reality in 1994, Hyper Racing was founded by Mike and Christy Dicely. Over 30 years later, Hyper Racing has amassed over 10,000 feature wins and more than 700 championships, including multiple Golden Drillers.
“We're fired up for our partnership with the Tulsa Shootout—the biggest 600cc Sprint race on the planet. Hyper Racing is the leading parts supplier in the industry. Teaming up with the most iconic race in the sport is the perfect fit,” stated Hyper Racing co-founder, Mike Dicely.
Rolling in off a record-setting year, the 2025 edition of the Hyper Racing Tulsa Shootout powered by NOS Energy Drink featured 1,855 entries for the 2025 event, with 1,798 confirmed among 762 drivers from 43 states and five countries driving 1,105 cars. A total of 389 races were contested, with 3,682 green flag laps completed.
“We’re excited for our continued partnership with Hyper Racing,” stated Matt Ward, who is the director of operations at Tulsa Expo Raceway.
“Mike and his entire crew have been a cornerstone of Micros for so many years, and their presence in that building is well known. Not only that, Hyper supports and gives back to the industry as a whole, whether it’s supporting events like the Tulsa Shootout, or teaching drivers how and what they need to do to be better, that all adds up and makes them a great company to be involved with.”
