Brexton Busch Lands His First Junior Sprint Golden Driller At The Tulsa Shootout

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (January 4, 2025) With cautions playing to his favor to keep out of traffic, that also meant dealing with restarts but did stop the charge of Brexton Busch as he led flag-to-flag for his first career Golden Driller with the Flying A-Motorsports Junior Sprints at the 40th annual Smiley’s Racing Products Tulsa Shootout powered NOS Energy Drink.

Along with the Golden Driller, Flying A-Motorsports also awarded Busch with a Burromax, to which brought a wave of laughter saying, “Oh, my Mom is going to be made. She hates it when I’m on stuff like that.”

Taking off from the pole, Brexton hit his marks on every restart to hold off Jax Wittmer, who held on for second. Gage Pio made the run from seventh to round out the podium, with Mackcen Roush and Ashlyn Wittmer made up the top five.

A total of 107 drivers drew in for competition with the Flying A-Motorsports Junior Sprints at the 40th annual Smiley’s Racing Products Tulsa Shootout powered NOS Energy Drink.

The Smiley's Racing Products Tulsa Shootout takes place at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, located inside the SageNet Center in Tulsa, Okla. Fans can also follow the Smiley's Racing Products Tulsa Shootout at https://www.facebook.com/TulsaShootout and on Twitter (@TulsaShootout).
