Important Reminders for the 34th Annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout

TULSA, Okla. (December 26, 2018) - As the 34th running of the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout approaches, officials from the Tulsa Expo Raceway have a few reminders for team attending.

Teams must use fuel purchased from the 2019 event. Absolutely NO outside fuel will be allowed. Fuel jugs and cars must come inside the building empty. Any driver caught not running fuel purchased from the event will be DQ'd for the weekend and will be escorted out of the River Spirit Expo Building.

Teams running in the Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, Winged A-Class, Stock Non-Wing and Restricted 'A' Class divisions must run the ASCS2 stamped right rear Hoosier Racing Tire.

New for the 2019 event in all classes, RaceCeivers will be mandatory. They will be available at the event. Frequency will be 454.000.

Official class rules are posted at http://www.tulsashootout.com. Rules questions can be directed to Matt Ward, who is the director of competition for the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout. The Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout takes place at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, located inside the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Okla. More information on the event will be released as the event draws closer. All official rules, event information, and dates are online at http://www.tulsashootout.com.
