Bayer Best in Outlaw Headliner as 22 Take Wins at 24th Annual Tulsa Shootout!
TULSA, Okla. (January 3, 2009) – More than 900 entries from throughout the nation converged upon the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway over the initial three days of the New Year to battle it out in a wild assortment of 24 racing classes of Micro Sprint Cars, Karts and Quads.
And when the final checkered flag flew upon Saturday night's championship feature action after two full days of heat race competition on Thursday and Friday, 22 different competitors hailing from a dozen different states captured Golden Driller trophies with Tulsa Shootout triumphs.
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma's Kevin Bayer topped the Micro Sprint Car Outlaw headliner, Mike Halliburton and Jacob Krug doubled up in Kart action and Michael Coburn's streak of Pro Quad perfection was "Snapp-ed".
