Toby started racing in Micro Sprints in late 2021 and has been hooked ever since. Making the move to step up from the Micro Sprint to a Pro Sprint and run weekly at Knoxville Raceway in July of 2022, making 4 starts at Knoxville that year. 2023 would mark Toby's full rookie season at Knoxville Raceway, where he scored his first heat race win and a couple of top 10 feature finishes. He followed that up with a top five and seven top ten finishes in 2024, finishing seventh in points.
