Tulsa Shootout
Additional Day Added to 32nd annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout

TULSA, Okla. (February 22, 2016) The 32nd edition of the Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout will once again end the year, as well as kick off a new year of racing for North American in 2017, with the annual “Marathon of Micros” taking place on the Tulsa Expo Raceway inside the River Spirit Expo Center.
With a record setting 1,249 entries among 615 drivers in 2016, officials with the Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout have added a day to the 2017 program, with Practice and Heat Races starting Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Racing resumes on Thursday, December 29, 2016 with action running through Sunday, January 1, 2017. The last time the Shootout concluded on a Sunday was 2012.
Classes for the 32nd annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout will include: "A" Class Winged, "A" Class Non-Winged, Outlaw Non-Winged, Outlaw Winged, Restrictor, Junior Sprints, ECOtec Midgets, 1,200cc Non-Wing, and 1,200cc Winged Mini Sprints.
The Shootout offices will begin taking entries in October. A specific date will be announced as the event draws closer.
